Tales in a Paragraph: Volume 4

a Series by Raquel Swann

When I’m in a murderous and deranged mood, I pace back and forth in my one bedroom apartment searching for new ways to kill. Perhaps, a poor unfortunate soul will wander off by their lonesome and conveniently take a brick to the skull. When a man is driving on a vacant winding road in the middle of the night and his brakes fail, know I was there beforehand crafting his demise. You lean over a rooftop to enjoy the view, it will be my hands that nudge you towards your destiny. Emotional? Not really. Sometimes, I terminate the ones I love the most – but only when I absolutely have no other alternative. It’s the job of an author and also the curse.
